Do you have a question for your school board candidates?

In less than 2 weeks, you’ll be able to ask your school board candidates face to face what they are going to do to help our school district if they are elected (and ask them what they’ve done to deserve your vote).
If you can make it on September 17th at 6PM – you can ask ALL of them during our Candidates Forum (reserve your seat now).
… or you can hang around to talk to each of them individually afterwards.

But what if you’re busy and can’t make it (or you’re shy)?

No problem. Just fill out this form at snkids.org and send it in.
We’ll add it to the list (no guarantees, last time we had a lot more questions, but we had 7 candidates, not 3).

This looks like a lot of work, can I help?

Glad you asked. 🙂
Yes you can..Send an email to steve@snkids.org

  • We could use help posting flyers at coffee shops, getting them into school packages, … basically anywhere and everywhere so that the candidates will get to hear from you.
  • We would welcome help setting up the event, bringing or donating coffee and cookies, volunteering during the event, and helping clean up.
  • And, the easiest thing of all, is just to share and publicize the forum so that our elected leaders know who is electing them and what you want.

Is there anything else you are working on?

Our other big project is to make the School District accountable to the public for special education and disability issues. We’re asking for the school board to formally create a District Advisory Committee … a group of parents, concerned citizens, teachers, and staff to spend the time to really understand the issues – and work to make things better. Sign the Petition Today.
….and lots more – if you want to help, email Steve (steve@snkids.org or Chelsea (chelsea@snkids.org)

Thank you!

Thank you for your continued support and interest in better outcomes for all of our special needs kids.

Chelsea and Steve
